Russia is currently in negotiations with several African countries on the delivery of Russia's single-aisle commercial aircraft, the Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100).
The deputy minister of the Russian Ministry of industry and trade, Georgy Kalamanov, told Sputnik on Wednesday.
"Active negotiations on the delivery of SSJ100 are being carried out with many African countries. First of all with Nigeria, Zambia, Ghana and Namibia," Kalamanov said.
The deputy trade minister noted that the establishment of a joint leasing company with African counterparts is currently being considered.
"It is expected that this project will also receive support from major pan-African institutions," Kalamanov added.
Manufactured by Russia's Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company, the Sukhoi Superjet 100 is a modern fly-by-wire twin-engine commercial regional jet with capacity for up to 108 passengers.
The Superjet 100 made its maiden flight in May 2008 and undertook its first commercial passenger flight on 21 April 2011.

Prices in the Sol Torremolinos Don Pablo are the same than two weeks ago.
Good location astounding but the staffs are rude and they make me wait so long for the service. They charge me more than what is on the website and did not refund me the manager is not helping with the issue
