Aviation Africa 2017 Brings Airbus to Kigali, Rwanda

Airbus is set to actively participate in the forthcoming Aviation Africa 2017 conference to be held in Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda from 22 to 23 February 2017.
The European aircraft manufacturer will use the opportunity to set out its Africa forecast for commercial airliners and air finance solutions for the continent.
The Airbus delegation will be led by its Vice President for Africa & Indian Ocean, Hadi Akoum, who will be addressing the summit on Airbus’s strategy and initiatives
There are currently 228 Airbus commercial jetliners flying with 32 operators in Africa. Since July 2010, Airbus has welcomed 26 new African operators to its family.
Additionally, over 90 Airbus military airlifters and special missions’ aircraft are in service with African air forces while 625 Airbus helicopters are operated throughout Africa.
