Ethiopian Airlines Suspends Flight Operations to Enugu Airport

Ethiopian Airlines has temporarily suspended flight operations to Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, Nigeria due to runway rehabilitation work. This was contained in a statement released on 21 April 2025. The suspension will be in effect until 6 May, 2025.

It will be recalled that the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria had, on 18 April 2025, announced the closure of Enugu Airport. According to the Authority, the suspension was to enable it carry out rehabilitation work on the airport's runway between 22 April and 6 May 2025.
