The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) on Thursday renewed the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) of Air Peace after months of rigorous audit of its operations. The AOC signed by the Director General of the NCAA, Capt. Usman Muhtar, said Air Peace was authorised to undertake scheduled, cargo and charter operations. Speaking on the development, Air Peace's Communications Manager, Mr Chris Iwarah said the AOC renewal confirmed the sustenance of the high standard of the airline's flight operations. Air Peace is the leading Nigeria airline with 26 aircraft in its fleet. It currently flies to 12 domestic destinations as well as 5 regional destinations in West Africa. The airline which recently acquired 2 Boeing 777s, is finalizing plans to launch long haul international operations to London, Dubai, Guangzhou, Johannesburg, Atlanta and Mumbai.
