British Airways Brings Laughter Onboard with Soho Theatre

Passengers travelling with British Airways are in for some comic time as the airline is bringing laughter to the skies with comedy content from Soho Theatre now available on board.
Five stand up shows will be added from well-known comedians including Nish Kumar, Mae Martin, Joel Dommett, Rhys James and Dane Baptiste. All the comedians will be recognisable not only for their performances at Soho Theatre, but also for numerous UK television appearances.
The announcement comes just in time for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the world’s biggest arts festival. With content launching across British Airways’ long-haul network, customers visiting the Fringe will have a taste of what to expect when they arrive, with Soho Theatre presenting new theatre, comedy and cabaret from across the globe in Scotland’s capital during August.
Customers who travel with British Airways on long-haul flights have free access to over 1,000 hours of films, TV shows and audio programmes via their personal seatback screen.
The content is updated regularly. Last month, alongside the usual update of blockbuster films and TV shows, British Airways also added music from London Symphony Orchestra.
Refreshing in-flight entertainment offerings is one the ways British Airways is adapting to meet the needs of its customers which is part of a £4.5 billion investment for customers.
The airline is also introducing the aircraft cabins which feature an in-flight Panasonic entertainment system which has been updated with larger HD screens.
