To further elevate the onboard experience of its passengers, Delta has embarked on a full-fleet interior renovation of its Boeing 777-200 aircraft.

The first refreshed 777-200ER took flight on Monday from Detroit to Beijing featuring Delta One suites, new Delta Premium Select cabin and Main Cabin, among other interior upgrades.

Delta's refreshed Boeing 777 aircraft has a total of 296 seats including 28 in the Delta One suites, 48 in the popular Delta Premium Select cabin and 220 in Main Cabin.

Others features include seatback entertainment screens with Delta Studio and thousands of free hours of content and full-spectrum LED ambient lighting with customized lighting schemes.

Delta One suite offers customers private space accessed by a sliding door with personal stowage areas, an advanced in-flight entertainment system, and premium trim and finishes to create an unparalleled business class experience with a comfortable, residential feel.

The Delta Premium Select cabin offers customers a range of options, allowing them to tailor travel to their specific needs by providing additional space with adjustable head and footrests and elevated service.

The Main Cabin feature 9-abreast 18.5" wide seats which is the widest of Delta's international fleet. Passengers will also have personal power ports and complimentary premium entertainment on individual seatback screens.

The aircraft is equipped with Gogo Ku Wi-Fi connectivity and customers will have access to free mobile messaging while on board through iMessage, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger.

Delta's first refreshed Boeing 777 will operate the Detroit and Beijing route on alternating days for the month of July only, filling in for the Airbus A350.

All 8 of Delta's 777-200ER and all 10 777-200LR will be retrofitted by the end of 2019. The upgraded 777 is part of Delta's multi-billion dollar investment in the overall customer experience.
