Meliá Hotels International will open a new hotel in Maputo, the Meliá Maputo Hotel, the first for the company in Mozambique, extend its presence in Africa.
In the centre of the capital Maputo and just 10 minutes from the train station and 20 minutes from the international airport, the hotel enjoys a prime location for both leisure and business travellers.
Within walking distance are some of the most emblematic attractions in Maputo such as the National Art Museum, the Cathedral and the Jardim dos Profesores Park.
Scheduled to open this year, Meliá Maputo Hotel will offer 171 rooms and suites and facilities for meetings and events including two event rooms and an auditorium for up to 150 people.
The hotel will also provide a coffee bar, dining facilities in its restaurant, which is expected to become the ideal meeting place for working lunches or dinner and events in Maputo.
Meliá Hotels International is extending its footprint in Africa. It recently opened the Meliá Serengeti and now has 11 hotels in Morocco, Cape Verde, Tanzania and soon in Mozambique.
With its Mediterranean-style architecture, seaside location and large avenues such as the Avenida Marginal, Maputo is one of the most attractive capital cities in Africa.

Prices in the Sol Torremolinos Don Pablo are the same than two weeks ago.
Good location astounding but the staffs are rude and they make me wait so long for the service. They charge me more than what is on the website and did not refund me the manager is not helping with the issue
