Ethiopian Aviation Academy Graduates 452 Professionals

Ethiopian Aviation Academy has graduated 452 aviation professionals at a ceremony held at the academy’s Commercial and Cabin Crew Training center in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on April 22, 2017.

The academy has graduated 35 pilots, 110 aviation maintenance technicians, 248 cabin crew and 59 commercial and ground service professionals.

This round of graduates includes Rwandese, Libyan and Tanzanian nationals, which testifies Ethiopian Pan African stance and key role in the development of African aviation.

Currently, the academy trains 1,500 youths per annum and it envisages enhancing its intake capacity to 4,000 by 2025.

Ethiopian Aviation Academy provides training for pilots, aircraft maintenance technicians, cabin crew, marketing personnel and leadership development trainees.

The Academy is certified by the Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority, the U.S Federal Aviation Administration, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and IATA Safety Audit (IOSA).
