Beginning 23 October, 2026, Delta will launch new nonstop service between Atlanta and Riyadh, establishing its first direct connection to Saudi Arabia and the first nonstop service between the U.S. and Riyadh operated by a U.S. airline.

The route will provide customers nationwide with convenient access to Riyadh for business, cultural exploration, adventure and onward connections across the Middle East through Delta’s Atlanta hub. Customers can also take advantage of a limited-time SkyMiles Award Deal when booking travel on the new route.

Exploring Riyadh and beyond

Saudi Arabia is quickly emerging as one of the world’s most dynamic travel destinations, welcoming visitors with a growing mix of history, culture, entertainment, sports, business and hospitality.

At the center of that transformation is Riyadh, where the new Atlanta-Riyadh service strengthens connections between the United States and Saudi Arabia at a time of expanding investment, international events and cultural exchange.

Riyadh serves as the perfect gateway to exploring Saudi Arabia, from ancient heritage sites, cultural districts, major events, desert excursions and coastal destinations such as Jeddah and the Red Sea coast.

In and around Riyadh, visitors will find a blend of old and new. Diriyah and the UNESCO-listed At-Turaif District offer a window into the Kingdom’s origins, with restored mudbrick architecture and historic landmarks.

Nearby, areas such as the King Abdullah Financial District and Riyadh Boulevard reflect the city’s role as a hub for business, dining and modern design.

Getting there with Delta

Delta’s new Atlanta–Riyadh service will fly daily from Oct. 23–30, 2026, before transitioning to three times weekly service on Delta’s Airbus A350-900, giving customers a more direct way to reach Saudi Arabia, with connections through Delta’s Atlanta hub from cities across the country.

The Airbus A350-900 features Delta One®, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort® and Delta Main. Customers can enjoy Delta Studio entertainment, and SkyMiles Members can access fast, free Delta Sync Wi-Fi powered by T-Mobile where available. Halal meal options will also be available for selection when booking or ahead of travel.
