Royal Air Maroc is set to expand its presence in Europe with the launch of a new nonstop service between Casablanca and Catania, Sicily from June 28, 2025. The service will strengthen international connectivity and meet the growing demand between Morocco and Italy.
The service will be operated two times a week, on Mondays and Saturdays, offering flexibility to business and leisure travelers.
Flights will depart Casablanca at 3:20 p.m. and arrive in Catania at 7:40 p.m. Return flights will leave Catania at 8:40 p.m., arriving in Casablanca in the evening. All times are local.
The opening of this direct route is seen as an opportunity to boost tourist and economic exchanges between Morocco and Sicily, known for its cultural attractiveness and economic potential.
The launch of the Casablanca-Catania route is part of a broader plan by Royal Air Maroc, which is opening new international routes, such as to Toronto and Beijing, as part of its development plan with the Moroccan government. This approach aims to strengthen Morocco's international profile and support the growth of the national tourism sector.
