Lufthansa Launches New Summer Destinations From Frankfurt and Munich

Lufthansa will start the summer of 2023 with new European destinations from Frankfurt and Munich. In total, the airline will offer more than 205 destinations worldwide. The number of connections from Frankfurt and Munich will reach 5,200 weekly frequencies.


From 23 April, 2023, Lufthansa will launch flight to Belfast the Northern Irish capital. On the same date, Lufthansa will also launch a twice-daily service to London-Gatwick.


With the addition of Belfast and Gatwick, Lufthansa will connect a total of 11 destinations in Great Britain and Northern Ireland from 23 April.


In Spain, Lufthansa will launch flight to Oviedo, the capital of Asturias situated on Spain's Atlantic coast. It will offer three-weekly service to the new destination.


In addition, Lufthansa will fly to Skopje for the first time from 23 April and will connect the capital of northern Macedonia twice a day. From 29 April, the airline will also launch once-weekly service to Biarritz in France.


From 25 April Lufthansa will also launch flights from Munich to Asturias with one-weekly service to the north of Spain. Also new is Bordeaux in France which will be served 3 times a week. Rzeszów in Poland is also back from Munich with a daily service to the south-eastern Polish city.


Next summer, Osaka and Mexico City will again be on the flight schedule from Munich. Lufthansa will fly to Osaka 3 times a week from 2 May. From 2 June, it will take off 3 times a week to the Mexican capital. Airbus A350 will be used for both services.
