Ethiopian Airlines Reschedules Resumption of Flights to Enugu

After initial hiccups due to security concerns, Ethiopian Airlines will resume scheduled flights to Enugu, Nigeria on Saturday 9 October, 2021.

The rescheduled resumption flight to Enugu, the former capital of Eastern Nigeria, will be arriving with passengers and a full load of cargo in the aircraft belly.

Flights to Enugu will initially operate three times a week, on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays using the ultra-modern Boeing 787 aircraft.

Being close to the commercial cities of Onitsha and Aba, the trading hubs of West Africa, Enugu will serve as a supply hub for goods and passengers travelling to or from the major markets in Eastern Nigeria.

It'll be recalled that Ethiopian Airlines had planned to resume flights to Enugu on 1 October, 2021. However, the resumption of the flight had to be put on hold due to security concerns.

Ethiopian Airlines suspended flights to Enugu in 2019 when the Nigerian Aviation Authorities closed the airport to refurbish the airport runway. Before the closure of the airport for runway repairs, Ethiopian was the only international airline operating into Enugu.

To reward passengers in the South East of Nigeria for their support and patience, Ethiopian Airlines has promised to provide affordable tickets as well as excellent service on flights to Enugu.

Enugu is Ethiopian Airlines' fourth destination in Nigeria. Ethiopian Airlines flies to three other destinations in Nigeria including Lagos, Abuja, and Kano.

Wow! Stunning! Hilton seems to be taking Africa by storm. Just a couple of years back, they opened the first ever in Eswatini.

Thank you for sharing such a detailed review about ethiopian airlines in your post. I am an avid traveller and keep reading flight reviews to assess the options available. Your review particularly drew my attention because you have shared so many pictures to capture every aspect of the flight experience. It is a very nice effort.

I am really tempted to book the next ethiopian airlines ticket and relive your journey. The pictures shared with the post also reflect that you truly enjoyed the travel. Great post! I also like the fact that you have covered nuances about the food and entertainment service through the pictures. It helps people know what to expect on their travel by this airline.
