Discover Airlines Launches New Service to the Seychelles

Discover Airlines is adding an exciting new destination to its route network. From 26 October, 2025, the holiday airline will fly non-stop from Frankfurt to the Seychelles. Service to the popular Indian Ocean Island will operate twice a week using an Airbus A330-300 aircraft.

Flights to the Seychelles will depart from Frankfurt every Tuesday and Sunday at 9:55 p.m. and arrive the Seychelles at 10:45 a.m. the next morning. The return flights are also planned as night flights so that travellers can make the most of their time in the Seychelles.

The new connection is planned with a connecting flight from the Seychelles to neighboring Mauritius. The optimized route means that travellers to Mauritius will have more convenient arrival and departure times.

The arrival in Mauritius will be moved from very early in the morning to midday and the return flight will be changed from a day flight to a night flight, so that travelers can enjoy their stay for even longer.

Next winter, Discover Airlines is also adding an additional direct connection between Frankfurt and Mauritius to its network to offer travelers the greatest possible flexibility.

With the Seychelles, Discover Airlines is not only further expanding its range of dream destinations in the Indian Ocean, but is also expanding the Lufthansa Group's portfolio to include a destination that has so far only been served by its sister airline Edelweiss from Zurich.

The archipelago of the Seychelles, which consists of 115 islands, is known for its white sandy beaches, turquoise lagoons and spectacular granite cliffs. Travelers can expect a variety of animal and plant species as well as some of the most beautiful diving and snorkeling spots in the world.

Flights to the Seychelles can be booked from mid-December via discover-airlines.com, lufthansa.com as well as through all German tour operators and travel agents.
