Air Belgium Launches Scheduled Flights to Mainland Africa

Air Belgium will debut in mainland Africa with the launch of new services to Johannesburg and Cape Town in South Africa.
The three weekly service will commence in September, 2022 using an Airbus A330-900neo aircraft offering 286 seats in three classes.
Headquartered in Ixelles, Air Belgium is a Belgian airline operating scheduled and charter flights from its hub at Brussels South Charleroi Airport.
With a fleet of 9 aircraft, the airline currently flies to 6 destinations including Hong Kong, Mauritius, Willemstad, Punta Cana, Pointe-à-Pitre, and Fort-de-France.
Air Belgium is also planning to launch direct flights to the United States in 2023, as the Airbus A330neo allows it to go further than the east coast.
