COVID-19: Singapore Airlines Rolls Out Safety Measures
As the world continues to battle the COVID-19 pandemic, Singapore Airlines has rolled out measures to ensure the safety and well-being of both staff and passengers.
At Singapore Changi Airport, as well as most airports around the world, passengers will find hand sanitisers available at common areas for use. High-touch surfaces such as baggage trays are cleaned and disinfected more frequently.
At the airport, passengers and staff alike are required to undergo temperature screening, practice safe distancing, and wear a face mask based on local regulatory requirements.
You may be asked to complete a basic health declaration and provide your travel history at the airport. If you are entering Singapore, you should submit an electronic health declaration up to three days before your flight.
To minimize contact, passengers are advised to check in online or via the SingaporeAir mobile app 48 hours to 90 minutes before flight departure.
Passengers departing from Singapore, you may use the app to generate your mobile boarding pass and print your bag tags at the self-service kiosks at selected airports. Singapore Airlines has enhanced food safety and hygiene measures in its in-flight meal preparation process, so that passengers may enjoy your meals on board with peace of mind.
In-flight shopping has been suspended, but you can place your orders on KrisShop.com to have your purchases delivered directly to your home or seat on board the aircraft.
All magazines and newspapers have also been removed. However, you may still enjoy complimentary access to over 150 publications via the airline’s e-Library on the SingaporeAir mobile app. Singapore Airlines gradually resuming services to more points in our network.
