EgyptAir has commenced non-stop service between Cairo and Washington D.C’s Dulles Airport, USA. The inaugural flight was operated on Tuesday, June 4.

The new service will be operated three times a week using a new Boeing 787-9 offering 309 seats including 30 in the Business Class and 279 in the economy class seats.

Flight 981 departs Cairo at 11:00 P.M. and arrives in Washington at 4:14 A.M the next day. Return flight departs Washington at 12:00 P.M. and arrives in Cairo at 4:50 A.M the next day.

With the new service, Washington D.C. has become EgyptAir's third North American destination after New York and Toronto.
