Kenya Airways has commenced daily operations between Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi and Aden Adde International Airport Mogadishu, Somalia.
The inaugural flight was operated on 18 December, 2018 using an all economy class Embraer 145 with a capacity for 50 passengers.
The route is operated by Aircraft Leasing Services (ALS) on behalf of Kenya Airways under a wet lease or ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance & Insurance) arrangement.
Outbound flight departs Nairobi Airport at 13:00 and arrives Mogadishu at 14:45 every day. Return flight departs Mogadishu at 15:50 and lands at JKIA, Nairobi at 17:35.
This convenient schedule will allow connections to and from Kenya Airways destinations in Africa, Far East and the USA via its hub at the JKIA in Nairobi.
With Kenya Airways current 53 destinations worldwide, 43 of which are in Africa, it now offers a connecting option for its guests coming from Somalia to all the destinations within its network.
