Nigeria’s leading airline, Air Peace has taken delivery of its fifth Embraer 145 aircraft, giving its aggressive network and fleet expansion plan a boost.

The new aircraft, marked 5N-BUX and named Udoka Ozor (Nee Onyema), touched down at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos at about 6.30 p.m. on Sunday.

The carrier had earlier received four of the six 50-seater Embraer 145 aircraft it recently acquired for operations to unserved and underserved cities under its subsidiary, Air Peace Hopper.

The new aircraft will be used to relaunch flights to Sokoto as well as start flights to Katsina in the next two weeks. Both cities are in the northern part of Nigeria.
