Virgin Atlantic to Launch New Frequent Flyer Programme

Virgin Group and Virgin Atlantic will launch a new Virgin-wide loyalty programme, with unique and differentiated reward opportunities, to reward customers across Virgin branded companies.

The new loyalty programme will offer virgin members the chance to earn and spend ‘miles’, the currency of Virgin Atlantic’s frequent flyer programme, across a range of products and services.

A new company, Virgin Group Loyalty Company (VGLC), will be established to manage the new loyalty programme which will bring reward across the Virgin family into a single company.

Virgin Red, an existing loyalty start-up in the Virgin Group, will be integrated into the new loyalty programme. VGLC will launch in 2019 and will be owned by Virgin Group and Delta.

Virgin Atlantic's loyalty program, Flying Club, will continue to be owned and managed by Virgin Atlantic as its frequent flyer programme and will continue to use miles as its currency.

Flying Club members will continue to earn Tier Points and earn and spend miles across Virgin Atlantic, Delta and a range of airline and other partners as they do today.

In the future Flying Club members can look forward to an expanded range of valuable ways to earn and spend miles that will be powered by the new Virgin loyalty programme.

Andrew Swaffield has been appointed as CEO to lead VGLC. Andrew previously worked with British Airways for 17 years part of which was as the Chief Executive of Avios.

Wow! Stunning! Hilton seems to be taking Africa by storm. Just a couple of years back, they opened the first ever in Eswatini.

Thank you for sharing such a detailed review about ethiopian airlines in your post. I am an avid traveller and keep reading flight reviews to assess the options available. Your review particularly drew my attention because you have shared so many pictures to capture every aspect of the flight experience. It is a very nice effort.

I am really tempted to book the next ethiopian airlines ticket and relive your journey. The pictures shared with the post also reflect that you truly enjoyed the travel. Great post! I also like the fact that you have covered nuances about the food and entertainment service through the pictures. It helps people know what to expect on their travel by this airline.
