Air France's passengers travelling between Paris CDG and Montreal, Canada will begin to experience the comfort of the airlines newest aircraft, the Boeing 787-9, starting from 1 May, 2017.

Air France's Boeing 787-9 is configured with a total of 276 seats including 30 in the latest Business class cabin, 21 in the new Premium Economy cabin and 225 in the Economy class cabin.

On-board the Dreamliner, Air France's customers will enjoy WiFi adapted to their needs from 20MB to 200MB for a price varying between €5 and €30.

The Boeing 787 has passenger pleasing features including lighting moods adapted to various phases of the flight, larger windows with electronic window darkening system, improved air pressure and humidity levels.

Air France currently operates the Boeing 787-9 on flights to Cairo and London and will start serving Lyon at the end of May. In winter 2017, several cities in Africa and North America will welcome this new aircraft.

Last week, Air France received its second Boeing 787-9. It will take delivery of three more of the aircraft type by the end of 2017. In the summer of 2018, the fleet will comprise six Boeing 787 aircraft.

Currently, Air France deploys a mix of Airbus A340 and Boeing 777 on its double daily service between Paris and Montreal.
