Royal Air Maroc, on 8 September, 2016, launched a thrice-weekly non-stop service between Casablanca, Morocco and Washington Dulles International Airport, USA.

Washington, D.C. becomes the airline's third destination in North America, and its second U.S. destination, after New York (USA) and Montreal (Canada).

Flight AT218 from Casablanca touched down at 9:55pm local time at Dulles Airport outside Washington, D.C. and was greeted with a water cannon salute.

The service which operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, will offer customers seamless connect to destinations such as Dakar, Lisbon, Nairobi, and the popular vacation destination, Marrakesh.

Royal Air Maroc deploys its new 274-seat Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners featuring 18 Business Class flat-bed seats in a 2-2-2 layout, and 256 Economy Class seats in a 3-3-3 layout.

Casablanca serves as Royal Air Maroc's global hub, offering convenient connections to more than 90 cities across Morocco,Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas.
