Air Namibia Connects Durban with Namibia and Botswana
Air Namibia, the flag carrier of Namibia, has announced that it will commence flight services to Durban in South Africa from Botswana and Namibia at the end of October, 2016.
Durban, a coastal city in eastern South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal province, is known for its African, Indian and colonial influences and is an important tourism and business destination.
Using fifth freedom rights it will route from Windhoek with a stopover in Gabarone, the Botswana capital, operating four times a week using an Embraer ERJ-135 aircraft.
Air Namibia currently serves destinations in Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Angola, Zambia, Botswana and Frankfurt with a fleet of 2 Airbus A330-200 aircraft, 4 Airbus A319-100 aircraft and 4 Embraer ERJ 135 aircraft.
