Airlink Increases Frequency on J'burg-Bulawayo Route

South Africa's Airlink will from 5 September 2016 introduce an additional flight on its service between Johannesburg and Bulawayo, the second-largest city in Zimbabwe.

The new morning flight which is targeted at business travellers resident in Johannesburg will depart weekdays - Mondays to Fridays, from OR Tambo International at 06h25 and arrive in Bulawayo at 07h45. The return flight departs from Bulawayo at 08h05 arriving at OR Tambo International at 09h30.

Airlink has also added additional capacity over the Christmas season with an afternoon flight which will operate from 12 December 2016 to 15 January 2017.

The addition of a 19th aircraft to Airlink’s Embraer ERJ135 37 seat regional jet fleet has made the additional flights possible. The second flight will also allow Airlink to introduce additional capacity on the route.

Through the airline's alliance with SAA, travellers can enjoy convenient connections with SAA, their Star Alliance Partner airlines and other carriers throughout Southern Africa and the world.
