Lufthansa will this winter resume nonstop service on the Frankfurt-Cape Town route. The three-weekly service will start on 2 December 2016, operating every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

After Johannesburg, Cape Town is one of the most important markets for Lufthansa in the southern part of Africa.

With its Star Alliance partner South African Airways, the airline offers attractive combination options to other destinations in that region.

Cape Town will be served by an Airbus A340-300, with over 279 seats in Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy Class.

LH576 leaves Frankfurt at 22:10 and arrives Cape Town the following morning at 11:00. The return flight departs Cape Town at 18:30 and arrives Frankfurt the following morning at 05:30.

A return flight to Cape Town can be booked starting at 699 euros. For more information and to book flights please visit www.lufthansa.com.
