Med-View airline, designated by the federal government as flag carrier to Saudi Arabia, has started scheduled operations with four flights a week to Jeddah as approved by the CAA of that country (GACA).

The four direct flights are routed Lagos- Abuja -Jeddah and Lagos-Kano-Jeddah.

The schedule released by the airline coincided with the 2015 Hajj airlift to accommodate international passengers who are not going on the platform of the various states’ Pilgrims Welfare Boards for the pilgrimage, and other passengers not on pilgrimage.

The flights, which started September 6, 2015 will run throughout the summer period. The Saudi Civil Aviation Authorities (GACA) has also approved the winter schedule for the four direct flights a week.

Managing Director/CEO, Med-View Airline, Alhaji Muneer Bankole said the airline was committed to service the routes hitherto granted it by the federal government of Nigeria, which include London, Dubai, Dakar, Accra, Monrovia, Libreville, Doula among others.
