Ethiopian Airlines has changed its long haul route from Addis Ababa to Los Angeles to transit through Lome, Togo with effect from 17 December 2018.
The new route will be the only and the first non-stop flight to connect West Africa with the West Coast of the United States of America.
In a similar development, the airline will also start new route from Addis Ababa to Dublin, Ireland via Madrid, Spain with effect from 15 December 2018.
The two new routes will be operated using the technologically advanced Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner offering passenger pleasing features including higher humidity, dimmable and largest windows in the skies, quiter cabins and smoother ride.
In line with its growth roadmap, Vision 2025, Ethiopian Airlines will keep expanding its vast international network, and create better air connectivity options within Africa as well as between Africa and the rest of the world.
Ethiopian Airlines has been expanding its international destinations which have now reached more than 116. The airline will soon launch new destinations including Manchester, Moscow, Istanbul and Mogadishu.
