Virgin Atlantic is set to operate flights between London Heathrow and Brussels for the winter season with the aim of transporting cargo during the peak period.

Operating on Virgin Atlantic’s Airbus A330-300 and Airbus A350-1000 aircraft with a capacity of up to 50 tonnes per flight, the service plans to transport time-critical goods such as perishables and pharmaceuticals which today are transported from Heathrow Airport to European hubs by truck services.

The new service, operating from 27th October 2024 through to 29th March 2025, will offer companies opportunities to export and import goods between Europe and prime markets in the UK and across our network with fast air connectivity.

This new service will offer fast connections for customers between Brussels and the wider European region and Virgin Atlantic’s extensive route network.
