Turkish Airlines Commences Scheduled Flights to Bukhara

Turkish Airlines had started operations to Bukhara in Uzbekistan, the ancient city of Central Asia with its history spanning over 2500 years and listed as a World Heritage by UNESCO.

Flight TK266 flight operated with A321neo type aircraft landed in city on 7 June for the first time, welcomed with water salute.

Starting from 7 June 2022, two-weekly flights between İstanbul Airport and Bukhara International Airport will be operated on Tuesdays and Fridays. Flights will depart from İstanbul Airport at 01:30 and from Bukhara International Airport at 09:10.

As a spiritual heart of Turkish-Islamic history and one of three cities in the world holding the title of Kubbet-ül İslam (Domes of Islam), Bukhara drew the interest of millions of travellers over the course of history with its rich history of knowledge, culture and Islamic fiber.

Strengthening its ties to Turkish-Islamic world throughout history, Türkiye is aiming to increase the allure of the region with the flights operated by the flag carrier.
