Turkish Airlines and Air Peace, West Africa’s largest airline, have activated a bilateral interline agreement, enhancing seamless connectivity between Nigeria, West and Central Africa, Türkiye, and Turkish Airlines’ extensive global network.

The interline partnership enables passengers of both airlines to enjoy seamless, single-ticket travel, coordinated schedules and simplified baggage handling on selected routes and eligible itineraries, delivering a smoother and more convenient travel experience across multiple destinations.

Through this agreement, Turkish Airlines passengers arriving in Lagos can now connect seamlessly onto Air Peace’s extensive domestic and regional network across Nigeria and West Africa.

Likewise, Air Peace passengers gain access to Turkish Airlines’ vast global route network via Istanbul, one of the world’s leading aviation hubs, with onward connections across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, the Americas, and beyond.

The partnership significantly strengthens travel options between Nigeria and Türkiye, while also unlocking new commercial and tourism opportunities by linking West and Central Africa more efficiently to global markets.

Speaking on the collaboration, Dr. Özlem Özyön, SVP International Relations and Alliances at Turkish Airlines, said: “This interline agreement with Air Peace reinforces our commitment to expanding connectivity across Africa.

By combining Turkish Airlines’ global reach with Air Peace’s strong regional presence, we are generating more travel options, improved convenience, and greater accessibility for our passengers.”

Commenting on the agreement, Nowel Ngala, Chief Commercial Officer of Air Peace, said: “This partnership with Turkish Airlines is another important milestone in Air Peace’s strategy to position Africa and particularly Nigeria at the center of global connectivity.

By integrating our robust domestic and regional network with Turkish Airlines’ unparalleled international reach, we are offering our customers seamless connections, reduced travel complexity, and greater choice, while strengthening Nigeria’s role as a key aviation gateway.”

Turkish Airlines operates modern widebody aircraft on its services to Lagos, offering passengers a premium onboard experience featuring award-winning inflight catering, world-class service, and its renowned inflight entertainment system. The airline’s Istanbul hub provides efficient connections and access to one of the most comprehensive global networks in aviation.

With a fleet of over 50 aircraft comprising of B777s, B737s and Embraer, and a rapidly expanding route network, Air Peace continues to play a pivotal role in Africa’s aviation landscape, connecting cities, supporting trade and tourism, and facilitating regional and international mobility.

Tickets under the interline agreement can be booked via turkishairlines.com, flyairpeace.com, and through IATA-accredited travel agents.

Thank you for sharing such a detailed review about ethiopian airlines in your post. I am an avid traveller and keep reading flight reviews to assess the options available. Your review particularly drew my attention because you have shared so many pictures to capture every aspect of the flight experience. It is a very nice effort.

I am really tempted to book the next ethiopian airlines ticket and relive your journey. The pictures shared with the post also reflect that you truly enjoyed the travel. Great post! I also like the fact that you have covered nuances about the food and entertainment service through the pictures. It helps people know what to expect on their travel by this airline.
