1. Earn toward status (with no changes to MQD thresholds)

SkyMiles Members can earn Medallion Qualification Dollars (MQDs) through activities like flying with Delta and its partner airlines, spending on eligible Delta SkyMiles® American Express Cards and booking your next getaway with Delta Vacations. Medallion Status unlocks exclusive benefits like priority boarding, waived bag fees, preferred seating and so much more.  

Plus, MQD thresholds to qualify for 2027 Medallion Status are staying the same – so Members can look forward to earning toward Diamond, Platinum, Gold and Silver Medallion Status without any added requirements next year.

And Delta SkyMiles® Platinum, Platinum Business, Reserve and Reserve Business American Express Card Members receive an MQD Headstart of $2,500 MQDs per Card type each Medallion Qualification Year – bringing them closer to status from the start.

Uber and Uber Eats

Since Delta’s new, exclusive rideshare partnership with Uber launched in April, more than 1 million SkyMiles Members have linked their accounts to earn miles. Once linked, Members automatically earn up to 3 miles per eligible dollar spent on qualifying Uber rides and Uber Eats in the U.S. – no extra steps required.
