TAP Launches Flights to New Destinations in Africa

TAP Air Portugal is expanding its African network with the launch of new services to Oujda in Morocco as well as as Djerba and Monastir, both in Tunisia.

In the summer of 2021, TAP will operate two-weekly services from Lisbon to Djerba and Monastir. The flights will operate on Sundays and Fridays, departing Lisbon at 09h25 and 10h00 and arriving at 12h30 and 12h55 pm respectively. TAP will also offer two weekly flights to Oujda in Morocco on Saturdays and Sundays, departing from Humberto Delgado Airport at 10 am and arriving Oujda at 12:05 pm.

In the summer of 2021, TAP will also launch new services between Lisbon and three destinations in Europe including Ibiza, Fuerteventura and Zagreb.

The new African routes will be available for purchase as from 15 September, 2020. Inaugural flights are scheduled between May and June 2021.

TAP had planned to launch flights to Cape Town from November 2020, but it was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The flight is now scheduled to launch in 2021.
