In preparation for the launch of commercial operations, Green Africa Airways today unveiled its Cabin Crew and Pilot’s Uniforms as runway met fashion.

The uniforms, which were unveiled at a virtual ceremony tagged the TheRunway, are a judicious blend of African style with Green Africa elements and a contemporary global feel.

Made from natural fabrics, the uniforms are not only environmentally friendly but also keeps the crew comfortable as natural fabrics are more ‘breathable’.

The colours of the uniform which are the airline’s brand colours are inspired by the vast and varied African landscape with the basic cuts inspired by the Nigerian prints popularly called Ankara.

Green is not just a colour to the airline, it is a concept, it signifies vibrancy, growth and sustainability which are what the airline’s brand and uniforms represent.

According to the airline, the comfort of the crew while wearing the uniform is paramount to them because a happy crew means happy customers.

Green Africa will launch commercial operations in the first quarter of 2021. The airline is based in Lagos, Nigeria.
