South African Airways Set to Launch Service to Gaborone

South African Airways is set to launch a new service between Johannesburg and Gaborone, Botswana, starting on Tuesday, 4 November 2025.
The new twice-daily service is scheduled to meet demand for travel between Johannesburg and Gaborone.
The morning flight departs Johannesburg at 06:50, arriving in Gaborone at 07:45. The return morning flight departs at 08:25 and lands in Johannesburg at 09:25. All times are local.
The afternoon flight departs Johannesburg at 16:25 , arriving in Gaborone at 17: 20 , with the return leg departing at 18:00 and arriving in Johannesburg at 19:00. All times are local.
According to its Group CEO, Prof John Lamola, "The launch of this route not only strengthens the cultural and economic ties between Botswana and South Africa but also reinforces SAA’s position as a premium network carrier. It reflects our commitment to connecting travellers across SAA’s regional and intercontinental networks and those destinations of our Star Alliance and codeshare partners."
