Flying between South Africa and Namibia has just got easier and better. Starting 1 May, 2025, South African Airways will operate three daily flights between Johannesburg and Windhoek, giving travellers more options.
Travellers can choose the early morning departure to make the most of their business day or the late morning flight timed perfectly for international arrivals. And the afternoon option gives travellers the freedom to travel on their own terms.
Return fares on this route start from just R3 804, including all taxes. The fares are valid for bookings made until 30 April, for travel between 1 May and 30 June 2025.

Definitely made my day! The report that South African Airways is launching a third daily flight between Johannesburg and Windhoek from May 1, 2025, is indeed welcome news. It creates room for increased flexibility by traveling to this twin city hub and goes even further in improving connectivity for the region in light of the phenomenal increase in demand for air travel between these cities.
