Sanbona Re-opens Luxury Dwyka Tented Lodge

Sanbona Wildlife Reserve has re-opened Dwyka Tented Lodge in the Klein Karoo outside Montagu, close to Cape Town in South Africa.
Sanbona stretches across 58 000 hectares of wide-open plains and is recognized as one of South Africa’s largest privately-owned reserves.
Known as the Western-Cape’s premier wildlife destination it offers an authentic safari wilderness experience in a malaria-free area, a mere three hours’ drive from Cape Town.
Romantic Dwyka is an adults-only lodge that is the perfect honeymoon, anniversary, and special occasion destination. Embraced by striking rock formations, the luxurious tented camp is set in the horseshoe bend of a dry Karoo ravine and is framed by a beautifully weathered landscape.
The spacious lounge and dining areas boast stylish, modern interiors, wooden decks that make the most of the glorious setting, and a boma for dining under the stars.
The accommodation is luxurious and private. Each of the nine luxury tents has an en-suite
bathroom and a private deck with a Jacuzzi to epitomizes the romance of a pioneering wilderness adventure.
The reserve provides sanctuary for many species of indigenous flora and fauna, including the Big 5. Adventure activities comprise of twice-daily game drives or wilderness walks and guided rock art walks, while more leisurely pursuits include bird watching and total relaxation.
Guests are invited to rejuvenate mind, body, and soul at the Relaxation Retreat, which offers an extensive menu of spa treatments and therapies.
Current low season rates for SA Residents will remain valid until 30 September 2021. The reduced rate of R4550 per person sharing per night includes accommodation, all meals, and non-alcoholic beverages, morning and evening nature drives with drinks, as well as guided wilderness walks.
