RwandAir Suspends Flights to Johannesburg, Cape Town, Lusaka, and Harare

RwandAir has suspended flights to Johannesburg and Cape Town as well as Lusaka and Harare with effect from today, 8 February, 2021.
The airline took the decision in light of the global concern of the new COVID-19 variant recently discovered in and prevalent in Southern Africa.
RwandAir says it's monitoring the situation and will resume flights to these destinations as soon as there is more clarity on the situation.
According to the airline, affected passengers can rebook their flights to fly at a later date at no extra cost or request a refund.
