Network Expansion: Air Peace Spreads Wings to London

West Africa’s largest airline, Air Peace, has concluded plans to spread wings to the United Kingdom with the launch of direct flight operations to London, starting from 30 March, 2024.

The five-weekly service will operate between the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos and London Gatwick Airport. The service will be operated using a Boeing 777-200ER.

Flight P47578 will depart Lagos at 12:10 am and arrive London Gatwick Airport by 6:40 am. Flight P47579 will depart London Gatwick at 11:10 am and arrive Lagos Airport by 5:40 pm. All times are local.

It'll be recalled that Nigeria’s Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, had in late January, initiated talks with the government of the United Kingdom on the possibility of commencing direct flights from Lagos to London by Air Peace.

Air Peace is Nigeria’s and West Africa's largest airline. The airline is in the middle of aggressive network expansion. It recently launched scheduled flights to Abidjan and Cotonou. It currently flies to over 30 domestic, regional, and international destinations, including Mumbai, Guangzhou, and Johannesburg.
