NCAA Strengthens Economic Regulatory Oversight Mechanisms

In a concerted bid to strengthen its economic regulatory oversight mechanisms, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has organized an  International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) Assisted workshop on economic regulations for staffers of the Directorate of Air Transport Regulations (DATR).

The five-day workshop, which is to provide a valuable platform to deepen the understanding of air transport economic shares’ best practices and build the capacity necessary to discharge our oversight functions efficiently, commenced on 26 May and will end on 30 May, 2025 at the Lagos Regional Office Annex.

The capacity-building workshop was coordinated by the DATR led by its director, Mrs. Olayinka Babaoye-Iriobe.
