The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), in conjunction with the Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), organised a one-day health sensitization and wellness program for its staff on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the Authority's Headquarters, Abuja, reaffirming its dedication to fostering a healthier and more productive workforce.

The event, themed "Promoting Healthy Living for a Productive Workforce," was facilitated by the Directorate of Human Resources and Administration.

Delivering the opening remarks, Dr. Anastasia Gbem, Director of Human Resources and Administration, highlighted the direct link between staff health and organisational success, urging employees to take a proactive approach to their wellbeing. She also expressed gratitude to the Director-General Civil Aviation (DGCA), Capt. Chris Najomo, for approving the programme.

The event featured presentations by Veritas Healthcare Limited, Avon HMO, and Songhai Health Trust Limited on critical health issues affecting employees in the workplace. Medical checks were also conducted for staff throughout the programme.
