NCAA Lagos Regional Manager Bags Aviation Role Model Award

The Regional Manager, Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) Lagos Office, Mrs Olubukola Teriba, has bagged the Prestigious Women In Logistics And Transport (WILAT) Aviation Role Model Award, in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the aviation industry and commitment to mentoring women in the sector.
The award presentation took place at the 14th WILAT Annual Conference and Awards themed: "Driving results:The Mastery in logistics and Transport" held in Lagos on the 6th August, 2026.
The Founder of WILAT Nigeria, Mrs Hajia Aisha Ali-Ibrahim, described Mrs Teriba as “a trailblazer whose career exemplifies excellence, integrity, and service," encouraging young women to take up leadership roles in a transport industry.
Receiving the award, Mrs Teriba expressed her profound gratitude to WILAT for the recognition and appreciated all the women working across aviation, logistics and transport in Nigeria.
The Regional Manager dedicated the award to the Director-General Civil Aviation, Capt. Chris Najomo, for being gender-friendly culminating in the opportunity to serve in the exalted capacity.
In addition, she appreciated the staff of NCAA Lagos Region for their unwavering commitment as well as all women who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, mentorship, and impact in the logistics and transport industry.
