NCAA Commits to Building Robust Industry Framework For UAS

The Director General Civil Aviation (DGCA), Capt. Chris Najomo, has reaffirmed Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) strong commitment to building a robust regulatory ecosystem that harmonizes safety, innovation and national development.
The DGCA gave this assurance while delivering his opening remarks at the ongoing 5th Drone Technology Conference and Exhibition (Dronetecx) with the theme: "Determining the future of UAS in Nigeria" holding on the 13th to 15th May, 2025 at the NIGAV Expo Centre, Ikeja, Lagos.
According to Capt. Najomo, the NCAA is developing a risk-based framework involving publishing guidelines for UAS operations, categorizing drones as open, specific and certified based on weight, altitude and operational complexity.
Capt. Najomo, therefore, urged industry leaders to adopt "ethical self-regulation," academia to prioritize UAS research and legislators to champion forward-thinking policies.
The three-day Dronetex2025 conference, which is part of the “Drone 101” public awareness initiative that equips SME operators and recreational users with essential safety knowledge, was organized by the F.C.I International, the parent company of DRONETECX, in collaboration with the NCAA.

Prices in the Sol Torremolinos Don Pablo are the same than two weeks ago.
Good location astounding but the staffs are rude and they make me wait so long for the service. They charge me more than what is on the website and did not refund me the manager is not helping with the issue
