Najomo Charges NCAA Staff on Professionalism as 2026 Activities Begin

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) on January 5th commenced its 2026 activities with an interfaith prayer and thanksgiving service at its headquarters in Abuja, marking the official opening of the Authority’s operations for the year.

‎Delivering his welcome address, the Director-General, Capt. Chris Ona Najomo, charged staff to uphold professionalism, discipline and unity, urging them to avoid absenteeism, delays and internal discord in support of safe and efficient skies.

The Director of Human Resources and Administration, Dr.(Mrs) Anastasia Gbem, also encouraged staff to approach the new year with diligence and responsibility, while Christian and Muslim staff offered prayers for unity, national stability and aviation safety.
