More Commanders: Arik Air Decorates Three New Captains

Nigeria's Arik Air, on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 decorated three new Captains to swell the number of Commanders in its employ.

Among the new Captains is a lady, Captain Oluranti Ogunwale-Ogoyi who is rated on the Boeing 737. The others are Captains Mohammed Tukur and Emmanuel Amaechi both rated on the Bombardier Q400 aircraft.

The decoration of the new Captains was performed by the airline’s Chief Executive Officer, Captain Roy Ilegbodu, the Director of Flight Operations, Captain Adetokunbo Adekunbi and Chief Pilot, Captain Chris Najomo.

On hand to witness the decoration were the Managing Director of Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Captain Fola Akinkuotu, father of one of the new Captains, Senator Kola Ogunwale as well as family members and friends of the Captains.
