More Choices: Ethiopian Airlines Increases Frequency to Dubai

Africa’s largest carrier, Ethiopian Airlines, is set to further expand its Middle East operations with increased passenger service to Dubai.

Starting 29 March 2026, the airline will introduce a fourth daily frequency on the Addis Ababa–Dubai route, boosting capacity and giving passengers more departure choices throughout the day.

The additional service is expected to improve onward connections via Addis Ababa to multiple African destinations, while also supporting growing business, tourism, and cargo demand between the UAE and the continent.

The Dubai route remains one of Ethiopian Airlines’ busiest corridors, serving both point-to-point travellers and transit passengers across its extensive African network.

With the new frequency, travellers will benefit from shorter connection times, same-day travel opportunities to more cities, and increased schedule flexibility, further strengthening Addis Ababa’s role as a key global transit hub linking Africa to Asia and the Middle East.
