Jambojet, Kenya’s leading low-cost airline, has officially crossed the historic 10 millionth customer mark, solidifying its position as a market leader in regional aviation.

The milestone was marked last week at the airline’s primary hub, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), where CEO & MD Mr. Karanja Ndegwa, joined other staff and other stakeholders in celebrating this achievement.

During the ceremony, Mr Ndegwa recognized and appreciated Mrs. Priscilla Rotich, who arrived from Eldoret as Jambojet’s 10 millionth passenger.

"Welcoming our 10 millionth passenger is a monumental achievement that speaks to the trust Kenyans and travelers across the region have placed in Jambojet," said Mr. Ndegwa.

"At Jambojet, our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and reaching this milestone reaffirms our commitment of providing safe, reliable and exceptional travel experiences for every passenger,” he added.

An excited Mrs. Rotich expressed her delight at the unexpected reception, praising the airline for its consistent service and convenient schedules.

The achievement caps off a period of steady growth for the carrier, which is now at 57% share of Kenya’s domestic travel market of the destinations it operates. Jambojet currently operates daily flights to seven key destinations, running up to 380 weekly flights to seamlessly connect business and leisure travelers.

The milestone marks a triumphant mid-year peak for the carrier as it continues to leverage its modern fleet of 11 De Havilland Dash 8-Q400 aircraft to meet rising consumer demand and drive economic growth across the country.
