Milestone: IHG Hotels & Resorts Opens 60th Avid Hotel

Avid hotels, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG), is celebrating its 60th open property with the debut of the new avid hotel Atlanta – Conyers I-20. The hotel marks the 6th avid hotel in Georgia.

With 11 new openings in 2022, and an additional 145 in the pipeline across the Americas region, including 16 under construction, avid hotels is on pace to nearly quadruple in size in the coming years, proving its popularity within the midscale segment.

Avid hotel Atlanta – Conyers I-20 will deliver the brand’s hallmarks that guests have come to love and expect from right-size rooms with inviting beds and sound-reducing design for a great night’s sleep to reliable technology, a large fitness center and the complimentary Good all-around grab-and-go breakfast (along with bean-to-cup coffee).

The 95-room hotel is minutes away from historic Olde Town Conyers, Georgia International Horse Park, Cherokee Run Golf Club, and just 24 miles east of downtown Atlanta, making it the perfect hotel for those seeking a place to rest with small town charm while on their way to, or from, big city travels.

Along with avid hotel Atlanta – Conyers I-20, other recently opened hotels include avid hotels – Fort Wayne North, avid hotel Toronto – Vaughan Southwest and avid hotel Odessa Northwest.

At this time, avid hotels remains focused on the continued growth of the brand in the Americas region, with properties currently open in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico and new-to-market hotels opening in Tuscaloosa, Austin and Tulsa, later this year.
