Libreville to Host 58th AFRAA General Assembly and Summit

The African Airlines Association (AFRAA), in partnership with host airline FlyGabon, has announced new dates and a new venue for the 58th AFRAA Annual General Assembly (AGA) and Summit.

The continent's premier airline gathering will now take place from 29 November to 1 December 2026 at the newly inaugurated Palais des Congrès Omar Bongo Ondimba (Omar Bongo Ondimba Convention Centre) in Libreville, Gabon. The event will be held under the high patronage of the Government of Gabon.

The annual summit is expected to bring together some of the biggest names in African and global aviation. Government officials, airline chief executives, aircraft manufacturers, financiers, airport operators, service providers and other industry stakeholders will converge on Libreville to discuss the future of air transport across the continent.

Each year, the AFRAA AGA serves as one of Africa's most important aviation events, providing a platform for industry leaders and stakeholders to exchange ideas, forge strategic partnerships and address the opportunities and challenges shaping the sector.

Discussions are expected to focus on improving connectivity, driving sustainable growth, strengthening collaboration and supporting the long-term development of African aviation.

Beyond the conference sessions, delegates will have opportunities to network, explore new business partnerships and engage with key decision-makers from across the aviation value chain.

With FlyGabon serving as the host airline and the new convention centre providing a modern venue, Libreville is set to welcome the African aviation community for three days of dialogue, collaboration and business development.
