Kenya Airways launched the New York service in October 2018. The service was suspended in March, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, Kenya Airways has implemented several health and safety measures to protect passengers and staff including the mandatory wearing of facemask on all flights.
