Designed by international award-winning interior architect Tristan Du Plessis, the brasserie exudes an effortless elegance, seamlessly blending the relaxed charm of a coastal escape with the refined sophistication of French-Mediterranean design.

Inspired by the lively spirit and refined simplicity of southern Europe, Jou Jou Brasserie evokes the romance of sun-drenched courtyards and the zest of coastal living, where life’s pleasures are celebrated with exquisite cuisine, warm hospitality, and a vivacious ambiance.

The beautiful brasserie serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as a sparkling Sunday Brunch every week featuring an array of Mediterranean delights and bespoke beverage stations, enticing guests to indulge in a feast of flavours that perfectly envelop the soul of the region.

Jou Jou’s thoughtfully curated menu showcases the finest Mediterranean ingredients that will transport guests to the heart of Southern Europe. Diners can enjoy a selection of hot and cold starters including Octopus Carpaccio, delicately enhanced with an espelette pepper vinaigrette, and Gambas - succulent sustainable prawns, sautéed in lobster garlic oil, and topped with Basilicata crusco pepper.

For a shared taste of the region, the Taste of Jou Jou platter features a colourful medley of artisanal cured meats, aged cheeses, and Mediterranean bites, epitomizing the convivial spirit of the Med.

The menu also features indulgent pasta and risotto dishes including the must-try Lobster Mafalde Pasta - Atlantic lobster, blue crab claw, and semi-dried tomatoes enveloped in a rich crustacean sauce – while the Winter Truffle Risotto, with black truffle, sautéed sesonal mushrooms with the option of sprinklings of fresh white truffle is a decadent and comforting option.

Jou Jou also serves a selection of larger plates that perfectly capture the soul of Mediterranean markets and family-style dining. From 1.5 kilogram mussel pot of Moules Marinière served with frites to Wagyu Tomahawk, served with a black pepper jus, these sharing dishes celebrate exquisite flavour and the region’s love for togetherness and connection.

Finishing the meal on a sweet note Jou Jou offers an array of desserts. Individual delights include the beloved Spanish treat of Fried Churros, accompanied with homemade Malaga orange confit and chocolate sauce, and a velvety rich Chocolate and Olive Oil Slice Cake served with olive oil ice cream.

For sharing, the Apple Tarte Tatin served a la poêle (in the pan) with Madagascar vanilla ice cream is an enticing option, while the interactive, tableside-prepared Tiramisu brings a fun and delicious finale steeped in Italian tradition.
