Jock Safari Lodge Re-opens with Christmas Deals

Jock Safari Lodge will re-open its main camp on Friday 18 December 2020 with a ‘Christmas Special’ of R3750 per person sharing per night for stays between 1 January and 31 March 2021.

The offer is valid for sale for three days only, from 16 to 18 December 2020, and includes all meals and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as twice-daily safari activities.

Situated at the confluence of the Mitomeni and Biyamiti rivers, Jock is tucked away in the south-western corner of the Kruger National Park where 6,000 hectares of exclusive traversing rights provide excellent Big Five game viewing.

Each of Jock’s 12 spacious thatched suites offers luxury and seclusion with large private decks and uninterrupted views of the riverbed. Suites also have their own private plunge pool and an enclosed sala (day bed) for outdoor living, daydreaming and sleep-outs, making it the ideal destination for social distancing.

In summer months, most of the dining take place outdoors, while in-room dining options are available too for those who prefer complete isolation.

After a complete revamp in 2018, the décor of Jock Safari Lodge pays homage to its rich history and heritage with the addition of modern comforts and conveniences enjoyed by discerning travellers.

Guests are guided on a sensory journey that encapsulates history, wilderness adventures, conservation, relaxation, and fine South African food and wine. Activities include daily game drives in open safari vehicles with an experienced guide, as well as wilderness walks and visits to rock art sites.

Other relaxing pursuits include bird watching, spa treatments and stargazing. Complimentary transfers are offered from Jock Safari Lodge to Leopard Creek Golf Club just outside the Malelane Gate of the Kruger National Park.
